1 Thessalonians 5:15-18- See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people. Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
It’s common for people to gather around a table this week and share something they are thankful for, then (in my case) eat way too much food and never think about it again.
As Christians we are called to be thankful in all circumstances. When considering thankfulness I often think about the apostles, who, even while in prison sang songs and were thankful that they were able to suffer for the cause of Christ. Thankfulness is all about perspective.
The challenge this week is simple: Take a moment and make a list of 10-20 things you are thankful for, then share the list with someone you care about.
